A 5 day adventure in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Experience the Spanish speaking culture of San Juan as we explore its natural beauties. Step into history as we tour Old San Juan and visit the San Juan Cathedral. Traverse the El Yunque National Rainforest, relax at the beach, and kayak through the Bioluminescent Bay. We will dive deep as we snorkel among the marine life and groove to the music as we take a Salsa class. This trip will be packed with exciting new experiences!

Day 1
Travel: Michigan to Puerto Rico
5:00 am Meet at the Ford Int. Airport in Grand Rapids
7:00 am Flight to San Juan, Puerto Rico
5:00 pm Meet bilingual tour guide upon arrival
6:00 pm Hotel check-in (San Juan area)
7:00 pm Welcome dinner
Day 2
Old San Juan – Spanish in Action
Guided walking tour of Old San Juan
Visit Castillo San Felipe del Morro
Visit San Juan Cathedral
Lunch in Old San Juan
Free time for exploration and shopping
Back to the hotel
Relax
Swim (Our hotel will have a nice pool)
Evening walk for a snack (Empanadillas, Alcapurrias, Tostones, etc…)
Day 3
El Yunque Rainforest & Bioluminescent Bay
Morning excursion to El Yunque National Forest
Guided hike through the rainforest
Visit waterfalls and scenic viewpoints
Lunch near Luquillo Beach
Return to hotel for rest and downtime
Evening Activity:
Travel to Fajardo area
Bioluminescent Bay kayaking experience with certified guides
Return to hotel late evening
Day 4
Snorkeling & Cultural Immersion
Morning:
Snorkeling excursion
Includes equipment and guided experience
Opportunity to explore coral reefs and marine life
Afternoon:
Return to hotel for rest
