Overall, we had a great experience and were able to see a tremendous amount in a relatively short time.
One area that could be improved was the bus microphone system. Whenever the tour guide rode with us between destinations, he attempted to provide commentary, but the microphone worked only intermittently. It would function for a few seconds and then cut out, making it impossible to hear what he was saying. Given the significant cost associated with transporting approximately 50 people—including the bus and driver—I would have expected a fully functioning microphone system or, ideally, a backup microphone.
Additionally, during our trip to Washington, D.C., the teachers attempted to play a movie on the bus's television screens, but the system would not work.
I also noticed a safety concern with my seat. While it had a seat belt, the buckle needed to fasten it was missing, making the seat belt unusable. Although many passengers chose not to wear seat belts, I wanted to use mine and was unable to do so because of the missing buckle.
