Washington, D.C., is more than just the nation's capital—it's a living classroom filled with rich history, vibrant culture, and countless educational opportunities. Students visiting D.C. can explore iconic landmarks like the White House, the U.S. Capitol, and the National Mall, where history comes alive. The city’s world-class museums, such as the Smithsonian Institution, offer free access to exhibits that span art, science, and history, providing an unparalleled hands-on learning experience. Beyond the monuments, D.C. is a hub of political activity, offering students a front-row seat to observe our 1st amendment rights in action. A visit to Washington, D.C., not only enhances students' academic knowledge but also inspires civic engagement and a deeper understanding of the nation's past, present, and future. 

Philadelphia is the birthplace of American Independence: It's where the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776 and the U.S. Constitution was drafted in 1787. Visiting Independence Hall allows students to stand in the room where these monumental events took place, providing a tangible connection to the nation's founding.  This iconic symbol of American freedom, the Liberty Bell is housed in Philadelphia. Students can explore its historical significance, particularly its association with independence, the abolitionist movement and the fight for civil rights. 

Gettysburg National Military Park offers students a deeper understanding of one of the most significant battles of the American Civil War. The park offers a chance to walk the battlefield, explore key sites like Little Round Top and Pickett's Charge. The experience provides valuable insights into the war's impact on American history, the soldiers' experiences, and the broader fight for unity and freedom. 

Students will stay in quads meaning four per room. Adults who might be on the trip will stay 1 or 2 per room. If there isn't a second adult to room with, they will be required to pay for a single room.
