About this trip

Welcome to the  Mackinac Island Trip. We begin our adventure with a visit to Dow Gardens in Midland, where students will enjoy a peaceful walk through beautifully landscaped gardens and have lunch outdoors. From there, we travel north to Mackinaw City, where students will check into the Bridge Vista Hotel, enjoy the indoor water park, and have dinner together. The evening concludes with the thrilling Jack Pine Lumberjack Show, a high-energy performance showcasing traditional logging skills. The second day takes us across the water to Mackinac Island, a unique destination known for its horse-drawn carriages and historic charm. Students will explore Fort Mackinac, enjoy free time to shop and sightsee, and take a guided carriage tour of the island. After a full day of discovery, we return to Mackinaw City and begin our journey home.
